I make two types of bowls, utility and food safe.  The utility bowls have several coats of polyurethane. 
The food safe bowls are finished with 100% mineral oil.

Pepper mills range from 8 inches to 24 inches tall.
I use the premium crush grind mechanisms.  For the salt mills I use a ceramic mechanism.

Toothpick holders are designed so that when the top is pulled up the toothpicks are exposed. 
They separate allowing you to grab a toothpick without touching the others.
